Hex Bolts feature a "Hexagonal" head and are the most common type of bolt. They can come partial threaded or fully threaded and are used in every industry.

Carriage Bolt

A Carriage Bolt has a "cupped" round head with a square piece directly below the head, this allows the bolt to slip into a square hole and only requires one tool to tighten a nut down. These are used in areas where a finished look is desired or for security where access from one side is desired.

An Anchor Bolt is a heavy duty bolt that is used to fasten objects to concrete. The most common Anchor bolts are attached to the concrete by drilling a hole in the concrete and pounding the bolt in. However, there are many other types of anchor bolts as well.

Socket Head Cap Bolt

Socket Head cap bolts have a round head and normally are tightened using an Allen wrench. These are used in tight spaces when a hex bolt isn't practical to use.

Countersunk Bolt

A Countersunk Bolt has a V- Shaped head and is designed to "sink" into the object it is bolting, creating a smooth surface.

Flange Bolt

Flange bolts have a circular flange under the head that acts like a washer to distribute the load. The Flange area comes as either serrated or non-serrated. Flange bolts that are non-serrated are sometimes called frame bolts.
